How to use?
Fortop SWF Resources Extractor is very easy to use.
Extract resources from Flash SWF and Flash EXE needs only three steps:
1. Open a Flash SWF or Flash EXE file
You can either use the "Open" button in the software toolbar to open a Flash SWF and Flash EXE file or simply drag one or more Flash SWF, Flash EXE into the software to open it.
Once the file is opened, you can preview the flash movie, and check Flash information such as Flash file size, Frame rate, Frame count, Dimension and so on in the Flash information panel on the left. The Flash resources will be shown in the Flash resources list panel on the right.
You can use this link to open windows explorer and locate the Flash.
You can use "Previous" and "Next" button to open another Flash in the same folder (the one opened by the "Open" button), or another Flash you dragged into the software (the one opened by dragging).
2. Select Flash resources that you want
You can select one or more Flash resources you want to extract. If you select only one resource in the resources list panel, you can check the resource information in the Flash information panel, such as resource formation, dimension, size and so on. If you select a sound resource, you can play the sound before you extract it.
If you want to extract all the sound resources or all the image resources, you need not select them one by one. You can use the popup menu, and select "Select All Sounds" or "Select All Images".
3. Extract the resource
After selection, click the Extract Button in the toolbar to open the extract window.
You can specify or change extraction directory and other setting, then click the "Extract" button. An extract summary window will be shown to tell you the extract result.
You can also use drag for convenience. Just drag the selected resource from resources list panel to Windows Explorer.
Fortop SWF Resources Extractor can pack Flash SWF to Flash EXE file, so it can be played without Adobe Flash Player. The software can unpack a Flash EXE file to Flash SWF file, so you can embed it into the HTML page for web view. You can use Unpack/Pack button in the toolbar to do it.
